Creative Rhythm: Grades 2 – 5
Explore the cultures of various countries around the world paying particular attention to their folk stories and songs. Discover the natural sounds on various percussion instruments.

Creative Art: Grades 2 – 5 Explore art using different textures, shapes, colors — cutting, tearing, and gluing together materials to make a collage to take home.

Creative Play: Ages 3 – 7
Explore your imagination, following a story and the introduction of a few play items; children exercise their creativity as they engage in playful fun. Parents are welcomed to join in with the adventure.

Creative Music & Movement: Ages 3 – 6
Explore music and movement through interactive stories, singing songs, playing instruments. This class has it all. Parents are welcomed to join in with the adventure.

Youth Leadership Internship
Middle & High School students - here is your chance to learn new leadership skills and have some fun while working on various projects at Arts in Motion. Program requires a minimum three month commitment. Call Becky Poore at (206) 723-3131 for an application and more information.

Free Ensemble Groups
Here is a chance to get involved in a small group ensemble. Whether you like classical, popular or jazz music, there will be a group for you. Groups may be just piano; combination of wind & brass, or combinations of various instruments for chamber or jazz ensembles. Participants must have 2 years of playing experience and note reading. Free Arts Activity Center
Arts in Motion Art/Music/Developmental Activity Center is available for all students and guests. Whether you are 3 years old or 13, there is an activity available for you to exercise your creativity and develop new skills. The activity center located at 3405 S. Alaska Street is open Monday – Thursday 2:30 – 7:00pm and Saturday 10:00am – 5:30pm.

Free Star Student Prizes
Aim for your best work and earn prizes. This year we celebrate our students’ hard work. Students who complete their assignments, display a learning attitude, and do their best work will be awarded a “star student” ticket. The ticket will be deposited into a basket and each month 4 tickets will be drawn out. Those lucky 4 students will earn a prize.
