- Painting - AcylicGrade 5 - Adult
Discover opacity & color permanence, textures and color theory. Study design elements in relation to subject genre and surface preparation. Students will learn palette use, brush techniques and more in this enjoyable & informative class.
- Cartooning - Beg./Cont.Grades 2 - 5, 6 - Adult
Using strong design elements to develop characters, facial expressions, humor, satire & environment. Continuing cartooning students must complete one semester of beginning lessons (or class). Students will illustrate plot, storyboard and book dummy for a picture book or comic book.
- Teen Arts StudioGrades 9 - 12
Find your inner muse; develop discipline and skills to express your personal creativity. Keep a sketchbook and follow your passions! Create a portfolio of work demonstrating knowledge and mastery of visual arts for your own benefit or to present to college admission directors.
- Visual Art StarterGrades PreK - 1
Introduce your budding artist to the exciting world of visual art! Learn art tool and material usage. Develop basic art vocabulary. During the last 10 minutes of class, artists will display work & communicate learned enjoyed concepts, providing parents an opportunity to discover ways to support their children in becoming confident artists!
