- Visual Art Starter PreK-Grade 1
Introduce your budding artist to the exciting world of visual art. Projects are designed to meet the developmental needs and abilities of young children in a safe and nurturing environment. Children will learn how to successfully use art tools and materials and develop basic art vocabulary. During the last 10 minutes of each class, young artists will display their work and communicate what they have learned and what they enjoyed, providing parents an opportunity to discover ways to support their preschoolers in becoming confident artists.

- Drawing 101 Grades 2-5
In this class, students are introduced to basic drawing skills, tools and techniques through a variety of engaging activities and projects. We will be covering: line quality, contrast, one-point perspective and basic anatomy. A full toolbox provides artists with a solid foundation for the communication of their creative ideas. All skill levels welcome - no experience necessary.

- Drawing 102 Grades 3-5, 6-Adults
This class is for artists who have mastered the basic skills and are ready to develop a personal style. Each project is based on an artist or artistic movement from a variety of cultures and eras, representing a range of creative expressions for students to explore and emulate. We will begin to explore color using oil pastels, colored pencils and markers. Prerequisite: Drawing 101 or instructor permission

- Cartooning and Illustration Grades 3-8
Learn the basics of animation and illustration as you develop a character, plot, storyboard and book dummy for a picture book or comic book. Throughout this process, participants will develop an understanding of what makes a story visually dynamic including point of view, visual flow and frame of reference.

- Easel Painting Grades 6-Adult
Stretch your own canvas and bring your personal vision to life. This class introduces the foundations for painting in any style or medium including composition, visual texture and contrast. No experience necessary. However, for optimal success, some drawing experience is recommended.
