Learn the joyous music of Zimbabwean traditional and contemporary marimba (African xylophone) music. The instruments range from soprano to the bass which stand over 5 feet tall. The ensemble structure of class makes it easy for everyone to contribute to the polyphonic and poly-rhythmic sound. Instruments are provided. Recording device recommended for classes.
