Get started learning the drums with this great introduction to the basics of hand drumming and rhythm notation as it relates to hand drums and other hand percussion instruments. Drums available during class for use or bring your own.

Learn basic snare drum and rhythms as you prepare to play the drum set. Students will learn to read rhythms and have opportunities to perform as a group and individually. Students should have their own snare drum and sticks.

Students must have completed one semester of pan studies and will be arrayed with other students of simmer age and skill level. Classes of 3 students (45 minutes), 4-5 students (60 minutes). Less than 3 students will need to register as a team lesson for 30 or 45 minutes. See lesson page for rates.
